This is how the company has changed on the road

“Business travel today sees average prices increased by 25 to 30 percent, especially in hotel and airline ticketing, and a -10 percent decline in transactions; in this context, our portfolio volumes are growing by 30.” This is the premise of Giorgio Garcea, chief commercial & operations officer of Cisalpina, who explains how new ways have been established in business travel. Because of the increases in airplane and stay pricing, “our client companies,” he continues, “have begun to let a different corporate population travel: yes, maintenance technicians, who cannot exempt themselves. So does top management. Instead, middle management, area and function managers preferably opt for teleconference meetings.”
