Singapore Airlines announces simplified protocol for travel to Singapore

As of April 1, fully vaccinated travelers departing on Singapore Airlines flights entering Singapore will be exempt from quarantine and the requirement to undergo Covid-19 testing upon arrival.

All passengers, who will have Singapore as their travel destination, will be required to take a Covid-19 pre-departure swab and meet visa requirements, if provided by nationality. While the transit passengers must continue to meet the travel requirements imposed by the final destination.

Travelers not fully vaccinated will be subject to home quarantine and current Covid-19 testing requirements.

Insurance with a minimum coverage of SGD30K for any medical treatment will be required of short-term passengers.

As a result of the simplification of entry protocols, Singapore Airlines will no longer designate specific Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights as of April 1, 2022.

Customers with existing reservations on VTL flights departing after April 1, 2022 can travel as scheduled and will not need to change their reservations.
