A significant step by CTI
for expansion into the Iberian market

CTI – Cisalpina Tours International has announced the appointment of Virginia Vinuesa Carbonero as the new Country Manager of CTI Spain, reinforcing its international growth strategy and focus on an increasingly customer-focused service offering.
With more than 20 years of experience in the business travel and technology sectors, the manager brings to CTI a unique combination of legal expertise, strategic leadership and operational know-how. She has held leading roles in global companies such as CWT, where she managed multinational travel programs in more than 80 countries, and Oversee, a SaaS travel tech company formerly known as Fairfly, where she led Customer Success operations while maintaining a zero customer churn rate.

Her career path began at Ericsson, where she held the position of travel manager in the procurement division, and then continued at BTI – Viajes Marsans, where she consolidated her knowledge of agency operational dynamics and customer services. Vinuesa holds a law degree from Universidad Carlos III and has completed postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions such as IE Business School, Yale University, HEC Paris, and Université de Genève, with a focus on leadership, organizational management, and wellness.

Virginia expressed great enthusiasm for the new position, noting that this represents a crucial time for the corporate travel industry. She believes that travel is a strategic enabler for business growth and cultural development, and said she is ready to contribute to CTI’s development by bringing a global vision combined with a deep knowledge of the local market.
