TMC and company focused on
digitization, efficiency, results analysis
In the context of the digital and sustainable transition that is transforming the way companies conceive work and travel, Fastweb stands out for an integrated vision of corporate mobility. Business travel is no longer just an operational necessity, but a strategic tool, intersecting with attention to the environment, technological innovation, and employee quality of life.
We discuss this with Chiara Maugeri, Fastweb’s Travel & Administrative Services Coordinator, who within the Personal Services Team is responsible for coordinating all phases of the travel-related process: from end-to-end management of business travel and expense reporting to dialogue with suppliers and the development of shared mobility solutions.
In this interview, he tells us how the company is evolving its travel management model, what tools it uses to monitor and optimize costs, and what role agencies and external partners now play in an ecosystem that aims to be increasingly sustainable, digital, and person-centered.
This interview elaborates:
- The travel management model adopted and its role in corporate mobility
- Methods for monitoring and optimizing travel costs
- Evaluation of the support received from agencies and providers
- The degree of satisfaction with the results, both economic and managerial
With about 3 thousand employees involved in the “Go Fast Go Green” program-a portal for corporate mobility that offers incentives, car/bike sharing, and charging stations-Fastweb is committed to the exciting challenge of sustainability: since 2015 it has been using 100 percent energy from renewable sources, has an Ecovadis 2024 platinum medal, 75 percent of the company car fleet is hybrid, and it prospects by this year to become 70 percent full electric.
