Trieste and Florence the elite destinations
of Minor Hotels' luxury brand
Tivoli Resorts’ 2024 has been full of accomplishments, new openings and partnerships.
Two properties are now counted in Italy, after Portopiccolo in Trieste, in fact, the Palazzo Gaddi, formerly the NH Collection, has been opened, perfectly embodying the Tivoli proposition of a relaxed lifestyle. With a history dating back to 1933 in Lisbon, Portugal, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts stands out for its cultural heritage and authentic connection to each destination. The brand is, therefore, wrapping up a year of celebrations to mark its 90th anniversary with special guest experiences such as the Tivoli Timeless Tour and The Room 90.
And it is recently that Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa has announced two new partnerships: Purobeach Portopiccolo, which will enrich the resort’s recreational and gastronomic offerings, and one with Terme di Saturnia, which will manage the spa. The well-known Italian brand will bring with it its know-how and spa approach to wellness and longevity.
Nestled in the beautifulDuino Cliffs Nature Reserve, the Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa is located in the complex of the same name and offers a private beach, several restaurants, stores and bars, and a luxurious marina. The spa, on the other hand, includes eight spacious treatment rooms, including a panoramic spa suite for couples, a large indoor and outdoor pool with a sea view, saunas, and a Turkish bath.
Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Florence Hotel:
between contemporary and Florentine art
Just as in Trieste, the Minor Hotels-owned chain did not miss the opportunity to offer its guests unforgettable locations for its second Italian opening as well: the historic Hotel Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi Firenze is in fact a luxury palace dating back to the 16th century located in the city’s historic center, now open after a complete renovation that lasted two years. Patrizia Quartero and Guy Oliver, internationally renowned interior designers, have been able to preserve its character and the noble spirit of its Renaissance history, thanks to the important work and dedication of specialized restorers and local artisans.
The location is close to the city’s main cultural attractions and features 86 rooms with original period furnishings, complemented by contemporary comfort, a testament to the past along with frescoed rooms, signature paintings and objets d’art, many dating back to the 16th century. Terrae Restaurant, Aria Rooftop and Milton Bar are the three outlets that Michelin-starred chef Iside de Cesare of Trevinano’s La Parolina restaurant runs as an entrepreneur and executive, along with Resident chef Salvatore Canargiu, offering gastronomic journeys into Tuscan and Italian cuisine, with fresh, local and seasonal products at the center of the dining experience.
