Flying from Italy to the United States: Delta's premium service
Delta Air Lines, a leading global airline that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025, has been connecting Italy to the United States safely and reliably for 24 years.
Comfort and excellence, on the ground and in the air
Delta aircraft feature Delta One classes of service (Delta One Suites on board A330-900neo aircraft), Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
The Delta One class offers fully reclining seats equipped with bedding made of recyclable materials and seasonal four-course menus curated by top chefs such as Spaniard José Andrés, as well as a sophisticated wine list, including Taittinger champagne. In addition, thanks to a recent partnership with luxury fashion house Missoni, Delta One customers will find on board an amenity-kit and design elements that characterize the Delta One travel experience.
In Delta Premium Select, passengers have more space to relax and unwind with wider seats, deeper recline, and further enhanced service. In all cabins, passengers enjoy food and beverage service and have access to more than 1,000 hours of entertainment through Delta Studio.
As part of its commitment to innovation and technology, the airline has equipped its flights with free fast Wi-Fi service, available in all classes of service on most aircraft in its fleet.
Delta is also investing in the experience offered to passengers at the airport before departure with the opening of new lounges, including the sophisticated Delta One Lounges, which opened in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Seattle.
The network from Italy
Delta operates from Italy from airports in Milan, Venice, Rome, Naples, and Catania with annual or seasonal nonstop flights to five hubs in the United States-Atlanta, Boston, Detroit Minneapolis, and New York JFK. For the 2026 summer season, the carrier announced new connections from Rome to Seattle and from Olbia to New York JFK.
